Prevent Google Chrome to be Updated

Hi all, only disabling the Google Update from the "chrome://plugins" does not matter. Chrome will itself update after a certain period of time. This tutorial will instruct you how to disable Google Chrome to be updated.
Start by Something Easy :
1. Open Google Chrome and type "chrome://plugins" in the omnibar(without quotes). Disable the Google Update Plugin.
2. Go to "Start" > Search for "Run" > Msconfig > Go to startup(tab) and disable Google Update.

Disabling Google Chrome Update:
1 You need to download a Google Update Administrative Template which you can download by clicking here.
2. Open the Policy Editor by typing the "Policy" in start menu. Select the "Edit group Policy" under the Control Panel Section.
3. Navigate to Local Computer Policy > Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates.
4. Right Click and select add/remove templates.
5. In the popup box, click add button and navigate to where you downloaded the Google Update Administrative Template i.e. GoogleUpdate.adm file and then click close button.
6. You should find a new entry under Local Computer Policy > Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Classic Administrative Templates called Google.
Disabling Google Chrome Update Checks:
1. Navigate to Administrative Templates > Google > Google Update > Applications > Google Chrome.
2. Right Click on Update Policy override and select Edit.
3. Check enable button and in the scrollbar list under the Policy choose Updates disabled and click OK.
